200-4r Speedometer Does Not Work.

If you are having problems with your 200-4R speedometer not working try replacing the driven gear (gear that the cable screws in to). Some of the original gears were plastic in a plastic case. They will wear without showing much signs of wear. They will get just enough "slop" in them to not engage. Below is a picture showing the new metal case style vs the old plastic one. 

The driving  gear is driven by the governor assembly to get this one out you will have to drop the pan. Then remove the cover plate for the governor.
